Il progetto I-STAR, focalizzato sullo sviluppo di un innovativo clinometro (patent pending) basato sulla riduzione astrometrica di campi stellari, \u00e8 stato co-finanziato dall\u2019Agenzia Spaziale Europea e durer\u00e0 due anni. Il progetto prevede l\u2019installazione di un prototipo iniziale basato su componenti off-the-shelf per poi passare, all\u2019inizio del 2021, con una fase di test basati su un prototipo avanzato costituito da componenti totalmente in-house.
